Delta Air Lines and Starbucks: Two great brands meeting at 30,000 feet. In February 2015, Delta started serving Starbucks on every flight. To celebrate, they passed out complimentary Starbucks at JFK, SEA, ATL, and LAX International Airports, and gave out a free flight through #DeltaCupContest via Twitter and Instagram. This successful activation included a complicated multi-city activation incorporating social media, distribution of Starbucks product, on-site installations created by commissioned artists, and on-the-ground interactions with brand ambassadors.
